Why This Resource Exists
Minnesota makes many jail and release fields public, but those records sit in different systems. The Stearns County Sheriff documents county booking episodes and release or transfer data. The Minnesota Department of Corrections operates a Locator for people still under state corrections jurisdiction, including some people who have left prison and remain supervised.
